Peter Kingston is a Petroleum Engineer having more than 40 years of experience in technical, executive and advisory roles. He has been directly engaged, as a director, in the strategic development of oil companies for over 25 years and has served as executive and non-executive director of UK-based oil and gas companies, including LSE-listed, AIM-listed and private companies. He was Joint-Managing Director of Enterprise Oil Plc from 1984 to 1992 and Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Soco International Plc, the LSE-listed international E&P oil company until June 2011. He is an experienced consultant in the field of corporate governance and environmental and social risk management – he is a founder director of Plexus Energy Limited, a network of experts in this field. Peter will step down from the Board of Directors at the end of March 2012.
