Tower Resources plc (AIM:TRP), the oil and gas exploration company with interests in sub-Saharan Africa, principally in Uganda and Namibia, is pleased to provide a brief update of its current operations in advance of its Annual General Meeting.
Uganda
- The aero gravity gradiometry survey, after collecting first data on 14th June, has, at the end of operations on Sunday 27th June, acquired 5586 kilometres (66%) out of the programmed 8437 kilometres of data.
- Interpreted data should be available within 2-3 weeks of completion and this will be used to determine the proposed seismic programme.
Namibia
- The seismic vessel, “Geowave Master”, arrived on location on Monday 28th June and is preparing to begin the 3-D seismic acquisition programme.
- A Competent Person’s Report, providing an independent assessment of the resources in Licence 0010, should be finalised within the next week.
